At Sophus Consulting, we are committed to protecting your data and maintaining transparency in how it is managed. If you need us to delete personal data, you can submit a formal request using the process outlined below.

How to Submit a Data Deletion Request

To ensure your request is processed quickly and securely, please send an email to Inquire@sophusconsulting.com from an authorized client contact.

Your email must include the following details:

  • Data to be deleted (describe the files, records, or categories of data)
  • Reason for deletion (e.g., data subject request, end of retention period, contractual requirement)
  • System(s) involved (e.g., production, backups, or third-party services)

What Happens Next:

1. We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 3 business days.
2. We will verify the authority of the requestor to ensure the request is valid and secure.
3. Once verified, we will delete the organization’s data from our systems unless we are required to retain it.
4. We will provide written confirmation once the deletion process is complete.

• Data deletion requests may result in loss of access to services, systems, or historical records that rely on that data.
• Certain records may be retained as required by law, contractual agreements, or for regulatory, compliance, professional, archiving or dispute resolution purposes, or to otherwise establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.
